To me, trees represent stability, being deeply anchored in the earth, and reaching for the stars at the same time. My first guided visualizations were about trees and the energies they represent. I still often use the image of the tree in my guided visualizations as a metaphor for being grounded while also reaching for the highest possibilities." LifeSpark matches volunteer Healing Touch and Reiki providers with individuals with cancer for regularly scheduled healing sessions for up to six months. This program offers cancer patients weekly relief from the side-effects of cancer treatment while promoting peace and well-being. Those receiving this service as well as their matched volunteer energy therapy providers have expressed how deeply the program has touched their lives. The program also collects data as part of an ongoing research project.
